Gypsum crusher
Gypsum crusher is the mining equipment designed for gypsum mining solution. Gypsum is the more common name for a mineral compound called calcium sulphate dihydroxide, or sulphate of lime. Gypsum is generally found underground near deposits of limestone or other minerals formed by evaporation. One of the most common forms of raw gypsum is a pure white crystal called alabaster. Another form of unprocessed gypsum forms in desert terrain and its crystals resemble the petals of a flower. For this reason, many people refer to this form of calcium sulphate as the 'desert rose'.
As the development of stone crushing technology, gypsum crusher has been developed with higher capacity and efficiency. Gypsum crushing process
The gypsum crushing process goes as follow:
Gypsum raw stones are fed into primary gypsum crusher with vibratory feeding equipments evenly and continuously. Gypsum get crushed into lump stones in the primary crusher (like PE series jaw crusher and PF series impact crusher) and then belt conveyor will transported them into the secondary gypsum crusher (usually JC series jaw crusher, hydralic impact crusher and cone crushers). The outlet of secondary crusher is of sand size.
If you want to get even granular gypsum sand, vibratory screening equipments are necessary and practical. The outlet of screening equipments which are larger than you want will be resized in the secondary crusher.
